This 40 by 30cm oil painting on a cradled board is part of my ‘Liminal’ series where I was exploring the space held between presence and absence. How someone who’s passed can be as alive to us as ever through still moments throughout the day- moments that linger for an instant or a lifetime.

This collection is about being in the transitional state between dreaming and being awake, the suspension this space can hold, revealing what was already known but somehow forgotten, offering a moment of stillness, an invitation to pause, a chance to catch your breath and be fully present in the here and now.
