This 40 by 30cm is part of my ‘Liminal’ series, where the colours and textures of the slow-growing lichen and the unassuming qualities of rocks and stonework marinaded in my subconscious to reveal these calm and contemplative paintings. I found the act of painting them a calm and contemplative experience and that comes across in this subtle and quiet collection.
