The new shoots of Peonies and Primroses in my garden in the Spring inspired these colours, evoking a sense of joy and optimism.

This oil painting image measures approx 28cm square and is on Arches oil paper, which is archival quality.

I created this painting in Spring 2023 using oils and added glazes in many layers. I also used oil paint mixed in with an oil medium called cold wax.
